Elaborat u sklopu projekta WINTER MED ocijenjen najboljim

The elaboration of the integral protection and revitalization of historic settlements in the landscapes of the islands of Korčula and Mljet in the Dubrovnik-Neretva County within the WINTER MED project won the annual award of the Croatian Chamber of Architects in the Medals for Spatial Planning category. Sani Sardelić, a member of the Gray Area, participated in the project team.

The judging panel is the contractor of the study, Ask atelier d.o.o. and the Institute of Art History, Center Cvito Fisković, rated the project as the best, recognizing a significant contribution to the preservation of the architectural heritage of the island of Korčula in the settlement of Žrnovo, Postrana and Mljet in the settlement of Goveđari within the Mljet National Park, as well as a holistic approach to space, with an emphasis on self-sustainability and preservation of the cultural landscape .
